Position Overview: The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems on residential and commercial properties. This position plays a key role in ensuring proper water management, system efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Install and repair irrigation systems, valves, controllers, and piping

Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic irrigation issues

Perform inspections, wet checks, and adjustments to ensure optimal coverage

Identify and repair leaks, clogs, or damaged components

Program and set irrigation timers for proper run schedules

Ensure compliance with watering restrictions and system efficiency standards

Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team members regarding service work

Maintain accurate records of materials, hours, and work completed

Assist in landscape installation projects when needed

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of irrigation experience (installation and service) preferred

Knowledge of two-wire and conventional systems

Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans or as-builts

Basic electrical troubleshooting skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
