Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
Leads development and improvement of complex manufacturing processes while providing technical leadership within the engineering team. Drives improvement initiatives, supports advanced automation and process optimization efforts, and mentors junior engineers.
Key Deliverables of the Position
1) Lead complex manufacturing process development and optimization initiatives.
2) Manage cross-functional improvement projects involving production, quality, and supply chain teams.
3) Support automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
4) Lead root cause investigations for complex manufacturing problems.
5) Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
6) Partner with R&D teams on design for manufacturability initiatives.
7) Develop long-term manufacturing process improvement strategies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of manufacturing, automation, industrial engineering, or related experience.
- Experience supporting or troubleshooting industrial robots or PLC-controlled equipment.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving manufacturing, equipment, or process issues with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
- Industrial robot programming experience (ABB, FANUC, or similar platforms).
- Allen-Bradley PLC and/or HMI troubleshooting experience.
- Experience commissioning, modifying, or optimizing automated manufacturing equipment.
