Join our growing team! J&O Plastics is looking for hardworking, passionate, detail oriented and punctual Machine Operators. You will run the plastic injection molding machine to produce parts while following procedures and instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature.

Your goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency. In performing these responsibilities, you must work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that shows you are a part of the J&O Plastics team!

We currently have openings for Machine Operators on all 3 shifts - Check out our brand-new schedule!

• 1st shift - 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Fridays are "light production and days" and staffed by volunteers.
• 2nd shift - 3:00 pm-11:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Fridays are "light production days" and staffed by volunteers.
• 3rd shift - 11:00 pm-7:00 am Monday through Thursday. Fridays are "light production days" and staffed by volunteers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely operating a wide range of machinery equipment
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications
• Assemble boxes for filling with finished product
• Seal, label and palletize finished product
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Maintaining a clean, neat and organized work area
• Follow regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all time

Required Skills and Abilities:

• You must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift
• Must be able to work in a hot-warehouse environment
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment a plus
• Open to cross-training in other functions/departments
• Basic Math Skills
• No experience needed! We will train those who are eager and ready to learn

Physical Requirements:

• You must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift in a seasonally changing warehouse environment
• Bending, lifting and kneeling
• Lift up to 30 pounds regularly
