Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Maintenance Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Maintenance team with updates on order status, maintain Preventive Maintenance documentation, learn mechanical and electrical concepts, and electronic and verbal communications with suppliers and vendors.

SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:

1. Review Maintenance support system for parts needed.

2. Assist with locating, quoting and purchasing of maintenance parts & supplies.

3. Pick-up and delivery parts as necessary for Maintenance Dept.

4. Assist with record keeping of maintenance parts & supplies.

5. Use of maintenance CMMS software.

6. Maintain a safe and clean working area.

7. Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs.

8. Contact vendors for delivery status and schedule repairs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, warehouse, or technical support environment preferred.

3. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts with the ability and willingness to learn maintenance processes and equipment.

4. Basic computer skills with the ability to learn and utilize maintenance management software and other company systems.

5. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

6. Ability to communicate effectively with Maintenance Technicians, suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.

7. Ability to safely handle parts, supplies, and materials required to support maintenance operations.

8. Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Two (2) or more years of experience supporting maintenance activities in a manufacturing, industrial, or oilfield environment.

2. Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

3. Experience with maintenance parts identification, purchasing, inventory control, or vendor coordination.

4. Technical training, certification, or coursework in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or a related field.

5. Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.

6. Familiarity with industrial equipment, tools, and basic repair processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical concepts, tools, and industrial equipment.

2. Knowledge of maintenance parts, supplies, inventory processes, and vendor coordination.

3. Ability to utilize CMMS software to maintain work orders, preventive maintenance records, and equipment documentation.

4. Ability to research, locate, and coordinate maintenance parts and supplies needed for repairs.

5. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing maintenance needs.

7. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, suppliers, and vendors.

8. Ability to learn technical information, maintenance procedures, and equipment requirements.

9. Ability to work independently while providing reliable support to the Maintenance Department.

10. Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

11. Commitment to workplace safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Hot and cold temperatures/uncontrolled environment.

2. Office environment.

3. Overtime as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to push/pull up to 75 pounds.

2. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

3. Must be able to work in difficult situations-tight spots/bending/squatting.
