Job Description
Position Summary
The Regional Service Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and customer experience of multiple service centers within an assigned region. This position ensures all locations operate efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with company standards, while driving productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as the operational link between field service locations and executive leadership, providing direction, support, and accountability to Service Managers and their teams. The Regional Service Manager plays a key role in developing people, improving processes, and ensuring service excellence across the region.
Essential Functions & Core Responsibilities
Safely operate a company-owned vehicle or personal vehicle for authorized business purposes in compliance with applicable laws, company policies, safety requirements, and vehicle-use expectations.
• Oversee performance, operations, and customer experience across multiple service locations within assigned region
• Lead, coach, and develop Service Managers and operational teams to support consistent execution and performance
• Monitor regional operational, financial, efficiency and productivity metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies, service standards, and operational procedures across all locations
• Support customer satisfaction through oversight of service quality, escalation management, and operational accountability
• Partner with Service Managers to support staffing alignment, workforce planning, and operational readiness
• Ensure consistent timekeeping practices, labor oversight, and wage and hour compliance across assigned locations
• Monitor labor utilization, overtime trends, and staffing efficiency to support operational and financial objectives
• Support implementation of strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and regional business objectives
• Coordinate communication and alignment between field operations and executive leadership
• Support vendor & manufacturer relationships, parts coordination, and operational escalation management
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational controls, and applicable regulations throughout assigned region
• Maintain accurate reporting, operational documentation, and leadership communication regarding regional performance
• Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and decision-making aligned with company core values and operational expectations
Required Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required, with the ability to maintain an acceptable driving record, required insurance when using a personal vehicle, and company driving authorization.
• Proven experience leading service operations, including performance and financial management
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple locations or complex operations
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned region, including overnight travel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company operating systems
Preferred Education, Certifications, and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (higher education in business or related field preferred)
• 5+ years of service management experience (multi-location leadership preferred)
• Experience in automotive, heavy truck, or emergency vehicle service industry
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Service Pro (or similar ERP/FSM platforms) is highly preferred.
