Partner Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Success Manager based in Ireland.

This role focuses on building and expanding strategic relationships with technology partners across the DACH region and wider Europe.
You will manage a portfolio of existing partners, helping them maximize adoption, business growth, and long-term value.
The position combines partner management, customer success, account development, and commercial strategy in a technology-driven environment.
You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding partner goals, challenges, and opportunities while driving measurable outcomes.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support retention, expansion, and stronger partner engagement.
This is a proactive role for someone who enjoys relationship building, business growth, and creating impact through collaboration.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for developing strong partner relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring long-term success through proactive account management. Your main missions will include:

  • Own and develop relationships with German-speaking partners across the DACH region and wider Europe.
  • Build a deep understanding of partner business models, customer bases, service portfolios, infrastructure environments, and commercial objectives.
  • Create and execute partner growth plans focused on adoption, retention, expansion, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the use of products, services, and platform capabilities within partner organizations.
  • Manage renewals and support commercial discussions related to contracts, usage, and future growth opportunities.
  • Monitor partner health indicators, including satisfaction, engagement, adoption, revenue performance, and churn risks.
  • Lead regular business reviews and strategic discussions with partner stakeholders.
  • Support partner onboarding, product adoption, service launches, and expansion initiatives.
  • Coordinate partner needs across technical, sales, marketing, product, finance, and support teams.
  • Ensure escalations are managed effectively with clear ownership, communication, and resolution follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, renewal information, and opportunity tracking through CRM tools.
  • Provide structured reporting on partner activities, risks, opportunities, and business performance.
  • Share partner feedback with internal teams to help improve products, services, and processes.
  • Represent the organization professionally during partner meetings, industry discussions, and virtual events.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management skills with commercial awareness and experience working with technology-focused customers or partners. The required qualifications and skills include:

  • Fluent German and English communication skills, with the ability to lead strategic and commercial conversations in both languages.
  • 3+ years of experience in Partner Success, Customer Success, Account Management, Partner Management, or a similar commercial relationship role.
  • Experience working with B2B technology products, services, or software solutions.
  • Strong consultative approach with proven ability to build trusted relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience increasing account value through adoption, expansion, upselling, or cross-selling.
  • Experience managing renewals, retention strategies, and customer or partner success initiatives.
  • Confidence leading business reviews, account planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ability to understand business models and connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills, ownership mindset, prioritization abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed technical and commercial teams.
  • Experience using CRM systems, forecasts, account plans, and structured reporting processes.

Additional experience that would be considered an advantage:

  • Background working with Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers, hosting companies, telecom providers, or infrastructure software vendors.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage, Kubernetes, automation, or cloud management platforms.
  • Experience with infrastructure software licensing, subscriptions, usage-based pricing, or service-provider business models.
  • Experience supporting partners that build, operate, or resell services based on infrastructure technologies.
  • Familiarity with DACH markets and partner ecosystems.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar account management platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
