Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of the PGY-1 pharmacy resident position is to develop the resident skills and knowledge required to promote, recommend, and deliver quality pharmaceutical care.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

The residents will actively participate in the provision of pharmaceutical care as they are trained and rotate through the different areas of the pharmacy department. They will progress through the Resident Learning System (RLS) and show achievement in all of the required goals and objectives of the program by the completion of the residency year. Residents who are in good standing, complete all of the goals and objectives, and satisfactorily complete all assigned work and assignments will receive a certificate of successful program completion. |

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Hours will vary according to rotation requirements. Weekends and evening staffing will be required. The resident must complete 12 months of required learning experiences in a one year period of time.
