Salary: $68,000
POSITION SUMMARY
The Student Success Librarian leads strategic outreach, instructional, and engagement initiatives that support teaching, learning, and research, with a particular focus on students who are under-prepared for a college STEM curriculum. This position advances the university’s commitment to student success and belonging by building collaborative relationships with faculty, students, and campus partners to increase awareness and effective use of library resources and services.
The Student Success Librarian develops and delivers information literacy instruction that supports student learning, critical thinking, and academic success across disciplines. The position is responsible for designing and coordinating workshops and events that foster a sense of belonging within the library and broader campus community. The Student Success Librarian assists with assessing library programming by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to demonstrate the impact of library initiatives and improve services. The Student Success Librarian also coordinates the library's participation in Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives.
Supported through the Strengthening Institutional Partners Grant initiative, this position expands the university’s capacity to advance student-centered programming and academic support. This position is fully funded for 5 years with the potential for extension.
This position follows standard business hours with occasional evening and weekend work required. The role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
