Job Description
The role of Customer Service Representative is integral to Home State Bank’s success as they serve as the face of the bank while interacting with a variety of customers in-person, via telephone or by electronic means. This role is responsible for aiding and vetting an assortment of customer inquiries for accounts, loans, trust, or commercial transactions and offerings with the bank, while effectively mitigating potential risk for fraud. This position is responsible for performing an ongoing review of applications that support electronic banking, fraud mitigation, accepting fraud claims and/or Reg E disputes, assisting with customer inquiries, providing a variety of support functions for Deposit Operations and the Retail network, along with managing all functions of the safe deposit box area and maintaining a working knowledge of the bank’s switchboard system, teller system and BPM. Bi-lingual a plus. This position is on-site and is not a remote position. Looking for local candidates as this position doesn't have relocation available.
