This role is focused on building, evolving, and operating highly scalable cloud infrastructure in a complex, data-driven environment. You will act as a key technical contributor responsible for ensuring reliability, performance, and security across cloud-native systems and platforms. The position combines hands-on engineering with architectural thinking, requiring strong expertise in automation, Kubernetes, and cloud services. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data, and product teams to enable continuous delivery and operational excellence. The environment is highly collaborative and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on DevOps culture, observability, and infrastructure as code. You will also participate in on-call rotations, ensuring system stability and rapid response to incidents. This is an opportunity to influence platform evolution and drive best practices across large-scale distributed systems.

• Design, build, and evolve scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and alignment with cloud architecture best practices.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, focusing on performance, security, autoscaling, and workload reliability.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring modularity, reusability, and governance across environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, and related technologies to enable safe and continuous delivery.
• Automate operational processes using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions using Datadog, including dashboards, alerts, APM, and SLO/SLA monitoring.
• Operate and support data orchestration platforms such as Astronomer (Apache Airflow), ensuring pipeline stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to support Snowflake integration, performance optimization, and secure data operations.
• Participate in architectural reviews and cross-team initiatives, ensuring infrastructure quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to on-call rotations, supporting production systems and ensuring rapid incident response and resolution.

• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Route53.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes administration, including cluster management, RBAC, network policies, and autoscaling strategies.
• Solid expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, including modules, remote state, and environment management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and GitOps practices.
• Strong automation mindset with hands-on experience in scripting using Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with Helm and Karpenter for application deployment and Kubernetes node provisioning.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and SLO management.
• Experience working with data platforms such as Astronomer (Apache Airflow) and Snowflake is a plus.
• Background in software development, with ability to read, review, and contribute to application code.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices such as clean code, APIs, and design patterns.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
