Café Team Member (Part-Time)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and customer-focused Café Team Member to join Lemonica USA. The team member will be responsible for preparing fresh lemonade, assisting with ingredient and syrup preparation, serving customers, and supporting daily store operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage & Ingredient Preparation

• Prepare fresh lemonade according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare lemon syrup and other beverage ingredients.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients.
• Maintain consistency in beverage taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

2. Customer Service

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system.
• Answer customer questions about beverages, ingredients, and menu options.
• Ensure accurate and timely order preparation.

3. Store Operations & Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas, equipment, counters, and customer-facing spaces.
• Restock ingredients, cups, packaging materials, and other supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor ingredient availability and inform management of low stock levels.

Required Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a café, coffee shop, or similar food and beverage establishment is required.
• A valid California Food Handler Card is required.
• Experience in beverage preparation and handling food ingredients.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

What We're Looking For

An experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic team member who is comfortable with beverage preparation, customer interactions, and daily café operations. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Japanese language skills are a plus but are not required.
