STAFF NURSE IMAGING - Weekender in CANTON, Ohio at Aultman Health Foundation

• Weekender position with Saturday and Sunday requirements.
• Serves as a consultant in area of Imaging Services.
• Assists in maintaining hospital and unit mission and standards.
• Demonstrates ability to perform staffing and rounding in Imaging Services.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation.
• Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issue.
• Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation.
• Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
• Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations.

• Collaborates with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
• Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio: BSN preferred.
• Critical care experience: 2 years critical care experience; ACLS preferred.
• Evidence of good health as evidence by infrequent absenteeism.
• Able to function independently with good critical care thinking skills.
• Demonstrates active involvement in Imaging Services (committee involvement).
• Demonstrates a commitment to the mission and values of Aultman Hospital and Radiology.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal communication skills with staff, patients, families, physicians, and other departments.
• Proactively deals with constant change.
• Demonstrates the ability to function satisfactorily as a professional nurse as described in the Staff Nurse Position description.
