Showroom Sales Associate - Grizzly Industrial
Location: Springfield, MO Pay: $18–$20/hour Schedule: F/T Start Date: ASAP

We are hiring a full-time Showroom Sales Associate to represent our woodworking and metalworking machinery in a hands-on, customer-facing environment.
As a Showroom Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers exploring our industry-leading machinery and accessories. You will guide customers through product options, demonstrate equipment, complete sales transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging showroom environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is charismatic, knowledgeable about woodworking and metal working tools, and enjoys working in a collaborative, training-focused team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist customers with product selection, orders, and general inquiries
- Complete point-of-sale transactions
- Perform store opening and closing duties
- Maintain showroom displays, cleanliness, and organization
- Conduct inventory checks and restock merchandise
- Demonstrate machinery and explain product use, operation, and care
- Communicate current promotions, sales, and policies
- Look up product information, manuals, and parts using computer systems
- Participate in meetings, product training, and activity research
- Support other departments and complete miscellaneous projects as needed
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and customer service

- Attention to Detail – Accuracy in transactions, inventory, product information, and showroom presentation
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving – Using logic to address customer questions and equipment inquiries
- Dependability – Consistent attendance, reliability, and follow-through on responsibilities
- Team Collaboration – Cooperative, positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Adaptability – Comfort with change, new products, and shifting priorities
- Initiative – Willingness to take on challenges, learn new equipment, and support other departments
- Integrity & Professionalism – Honest, ethical behavior, and a commitment to representing the company well
- Basic Computer Literacy – Ability to look up stock, pricing, manuals, and product information
- Physical Capability - Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 60 lbs.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of woodworking and metalworking machines and tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer literacy
