The Maintenance Lead focuses on maximizing uptime of equipment and facilities through the timely completion of work orders and other related tasks. The role is responsible for all general facility maintenance tasks in manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments, including, but not limited to: mechanical maintenance, light carpentry, metal fabrication, welding, painting, plumbing, mechanical systems, light electrical, light rigging/lifting, office relocations, special event and meeting setups, preventative maintenance tasks, and interfacing with suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Maintain a variety of machinery such as CNC mills, lathes, and molding presses.
- Perform various monthly preventative maintenance.
- Maintain the maintenance database, recording Work Orders and other equipment-related data.
- Interface with suppliers.
- Assess and repair minor HVAC and exhaust system issues.
- Assess and repair minor plumbing and electrical issues.
- Perform light duty carpentry and welding/ fabrication work to resolve issues/accommodate customer requests.
- Perform setups to support events or organizational needs.
- Maintain environment and safety records by working with EHS director.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Other tasks/functions as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in areas of hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general carpentry preferred
- Previous experience managing workload in Maintenance software preferred
- Previous building maintenance experience preferred
- Maintenance-related education/certificates preferred
