About the role:
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for Veridian’s website, SEO, and CRO—the core digital foundation that converts online demand into qualified leads. You will manage the end-to-end roadmap, ensuring every brand site is fast, discoverable, and optimized to turn visitors into booked appointments. By translating strategy into shipped improvements, this role delivers measurable return on investment.
Partnering with Brand, Performance Marketing, Growth Analytics, and Inside Sales, you will ensure our digital channels reinforce brand strategy and capture demand. This is a hands-on, data-driven role for a marketer who thrives on testing, iteration, and taking full ownership of outcomes.

What you'll do:
Website Ownership & Management
- Manage the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations of Veridian’s brand websites, ensuring fast, mobile-friendly, on-brand experiences.
- Maintain site health, including page speed, Core Web Vitals, uptime, and technical quality.
- Oversee the content management system (CMS) and publishing workflow, coordinating updates to pages, offers, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with Brand to ensure every page reflects Veridian’s standards, voice, and visual identity.
- Direct the organic search strategy across technical, on-page, and local SEO to increase non-paid traffic.
- Improve local SEO across markets via Google Business Profile optimization, local landing pages, and citation management.
- Develop plans to improve keyword rankings, content effectiveness, and on-page optimization.
- Monitor rankings and traffic, translating insights into a continuously updated SEO roadmap.
- Lead the CRO roadmap using hypothesis-driven testing to increase conversion from visits to booked appointments.
- Design A/B and multivariate tests for landing pages, forms, and user flows.
- Analyze the on-site funnel to identify friction points and prioritize conversion opportunities.
- Manage conversion tracking and tag management to ensure accurate measurement of optimization efforts.
- Manage the digital agency as the accountable owner of scope, priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
- Translate the web, SEO, and CRO roadmap into clear briefs and hold the agency to measurable performance standards and SLAs.
- Own the agency budget and relationship, ensuring every dollar delivers maximum ROI and conversion impact.
- Continuously evaluate agency performance and recommend adjustments to scope or partners as needed.
- Own web and conversion analytics, building reporting and dashboards that track traffic, rankings, conversion rate, and cost per lead.
- Establish clear KPIs for website, SEO, and CRO performance, and report results and ROI to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Partner with Growth Analytics to ensure consistent definitions, accurate attribution, and a single source of truth.
- Turn data into a prioritized action plan, recommending where to invest next for maximum return.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to ensure paid campaigns land on high-converting, well-tracked pages and experiences.
- Collaborate with Brand to keep digital execution aligned with brand strategy and creative standards.
- Work with Inside Sales and Operations to connect on-site conversion to lead quality and booked-appointment outcomes.
- Share insights on customer behavior and site performance that inform broader growth strategy.
What we are looking for:
- To effectively perform the duties for this position, individuals must be able to demonstrate competencies that are essential to the position.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with direct ownership of website management, SEO, and CRO.
- Proven track record of growing organic traffic, improving search rankings, and lifting conversion rates.
- Experience managing external agencies or vendors and holding them accountable to deliverables and ROI.
- Background in home services, consumer services, retail, or multi-location businesses with a strong local marketing component preferred.
- Demonstrated experience owning a website roadmap on a modern CMS.
- Hands-on proficiency with web analytics (Google Analytics / GA4), Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong command of technical, on-page, and local SEO, with familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Experience running structured CRO and A/B testing programs using experimentation tools.
- Working knowledge of modern CMS platforms and a practical understanding of HTML/CSS and site performance.
- Ability to translate performance data into a clear, prioritized roadmap and communicate results to leadership.
