Customer & Member Success Specialist (WFH)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer & Member Success Specialist (WFH) based in United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a service-oriented professional who enjoys helping clients and building lasting relationships. You will work directly with individuals seeking information about benefits and coverage, providing clear guidance and responsive support throughout their experience. The role is designed for people who value flexibility, professional development, and meaningful client interactions. No prior insurance experience is required, with structured training and ongoing mentorship provided. You will develop valuable communication, customer service, organizational, and leadership skills while working independently in a virtual environment. Accountabilities:
  • Meet with clients virtually through Zoom and phone appointments to understand their needs and provide responsive support.
  • Explain available benefits, policy features, and coverage options clearly and professionally.
  • Answer client questions and provide guidance that helps individuals make informed decisions about their benefits.
  • Assist clients with applications, enrollment, policy updates, and service requests.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through professionalism, trust, and consistent follow-up.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to understand changing needs and review relevant coverage options.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation while following established policies and applicable industry requirements.
  • Participate in structured virtual training, coaching, and mentorship programs to strengthen professional capabilities.
  • Develop communication, customer service, leadership, and product knowledge through ongoing learning.
  • Collaborate with a supportive remote team while contributing to shared service and performance objectives.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be physically located within the United States.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, personable approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple client interactions and follow-ups.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with virtual communication and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining engaged with a distributed team.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
  • Service-oriented mindset and commitment to creating positive client experiences.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail when handling client information and documentation.
  • Previous experience in customer service, client relations, sales, healthcare, retail, hospitality, education, administrative support, or call center operations is helpful but not required.
  • Leadership or management experience is a plus, but comprehensive training and mentorship are provided.
  • Reliable computer or laptop, high-speed internet connection, webcam, microphone, and a quiet professional workspace are required.
