The Systems Support Specialist IV will provide advanced technical support by diagnosing complex system issues, supporting customer environments, and ensuring reliable operation of technology solutions. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical ownership, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex technical problems across systems, networks, connectivity, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently while minimizing customer impact and maintaining service quality.
- Monitor system environments, review network site surveys, and determine appropriate technical actions.
- Perform system validation and confirmation testing based on technical requirements and support processes.
- Work directly with customers to diagnose issues, provide guidance, and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customer IT teams to address infrastructure, integration, and connectivity challenges.
- Support installation, upgrades, and maintenance activities for hardware, software, and multifunctional devices.
- Provide expertise on workflows, processes, scripting, and system integrations.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of support practices.
- Travel periodically to customer sites to provide on-site technical assistance when required.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical support professional with a strong background in networking, systems administration, and customer-facing troubleshooting. This individual should have the ability to manage complex technical challenges, communicate effectively, and deliver reliable solutions in diverse technology environments.
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems support, networking, connectivity, interfaces, software applications, or related technology areas.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and IT infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting multifunctional devices, system installations, and upgrades.
- Demonstrated understanding of information and document lifecycle processes, products, and services.
- Experience with cloud applications, IT infrastructure, security concepts, and systems integration.
- Strong expertise in workflows, operational processes, and scripting.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with experience working directly with customers and IT teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel periodically to customer locations.
