Position Overview:
The Enrichment Program Assistant supports the planning, organization, and daily operation of STEM School Highlands Ranch's K–12 enrichment programs, summer camps, and Secondary After School Care Program. This position partners with the Enrichment Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service, ensure operational excellence, and create engaging experiences for students and families while modeling the STEM School Highlands Ranch Core Values.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of K–12 enrichment programs, ensuring programs are organized, efficient, and student-centered.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for parents, students, staff, volunteers, and program providers, delivering timely, professional, and comprehensive communication.
- Create and manage registrations, enrollment records, attendance reports, rosters, and program documentation using school information systems.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and student schedules through platforms including MySchoolBucks, PikMyKid, SmartCare, and Infinite Campus.
- Coordinate daily student check-in, attendance verification, transitions, dismissal, and supervision for elementary enrichment programs.
- Escort and supervise students during program transitions, recess, and other non-classroom activities while maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
- Supervise the Secondary After School Care Program, including attendance tracking, student engagement, family communication, billing support, and maintaining a clean, organized program space.
- Support the planning, preparation, and daily operation of summer camps, including classroom setup, student supervision, recess management, directional signage, attendance, and operational logistics.
- Assist instructors by providing classroom support, helping address student behavioral needs, and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and distribute communications regarding registrations, schedules, program reminders, session updates, and other enrichment information.
- Create program materials including rosters, name tags, signage, schedules, and other resources that support successful program implementation.
- Prepare purchase orders, assist with budget tracking, and maintain department records and administrative documentation.
- Partner with Athletics and other departments to maintain shared activity schedules and coordinate school-wide programming.
- Assist with the planning and execution of enrichment events, including Club Rush, BEST Robotics Kickoff, Prospective Spartan Night, Spartan Showcase, TSA events, Enrichment Awards Night, Summer Camps, and other departmental initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and family information while ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes, increase operational efficiency, and enhance the student and family experience.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners while providing exceptional customer service.

- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Enrichment Coordinator.
Qualifications Required:
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED (or working towards).
- Must be passionate about working with kids, experience is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a level II background check and drug screen.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications (or obtained within the first three months of employment).
- Knowledge of working with Google Docs and Sheets or general understanding of spreadsheets.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting of 5 to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand or walk for 90 minutes.
- Ability to run short distances.
- Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
This position will be open until filled, but will not be open past: August 31, 2026.
The pay range for this role is:
19.55 - 29.66 USD per hour(Main)
