SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for building a robust reporting and analytics platform. Will provide actionable financial analysis and insights to support and help optimize Company operations. Perform structured as well as ad hoc analyses to deliver financial insights that aid in decision-making to craft the future of Company. Will work closely with management to research and answer operational trends and results.

- Collaborate on highly visible and cross-functional projects to help prioritize resources and to aid in strategic decision making.
- Perform deep-dive analyses that drive actionable insights and recommendations for growth and optimization.
- Provide insight on financial performance, including analysis of variance to prior periods, forecasts, or budgets.
- Understand key business drivers.
- Extract data for analysis from varying source systems / technology
- Analyze large volumes of data and present in a concise and intuitive manner; interpret data to explain past financial performance and project future results.
- Champion data integrity, by analyzing data for anomalies, continuously checking for data quality, raising question when data does not align with business logic.
- Develop insightful dashboard in Tableau that not only answers questions but tells a coherent story with clear, easy to follow conclusions and implications.
- Generate reports and presentations as directed or as needed.
- Build financial models to analyze impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations that aid decision-making.
- Identify and lead initiatives to drive improvement in the business by leveraging data and insights.
- Communicate results of analysis to various levels of the organization.
- Document procedures, user guides, training manuals.
- Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policies.
- Keep commitments and keep direct supervisor informed of work progress, timetables, and issues.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices).
- Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics or Statistics).
- 4-6 years of total work experience in a combination of Analytics, FP&A, corporate or strategic finance within a public or high growth company.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with desire to seek sophisticated problems
- Intermediate level skills in large-scale data mining in SQL, including developing queries.
- Intermediate level skills in developing dashboards in Tableau Desktop.
- Advanced level skills in Excel, including VBA/Macro development.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
DESIRABLE:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred)
- Experience in healthcare industry.
- Experience with Excel PowerQuery.
- Experience with Google BigQuery.
- Expert in Tableau Desktop.
- Familiarity with Google Big Query a plus.

- This is primarily an office classification. Temperature conditions are controlled with limited direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
