About Engineered Arts
Since 2004, Engineered Arts has been at the forefront of robotics, creating lifelike social humanoids that have captivated audiences worldwide. Our vision is to revolutionize the human experience through embodied AI, loved and trusted in every home.
Role Outline (Hybrid-Austin, TX)
How do you sell something genuinely unlike anything else on the market? We’re working on it - come join us for the ride!
At Engineered Arts we bring a very human focus to the cutting edge of robotics technology and build the most engaging humanoid robots in the world.
We’re looking for a seasoned Account Executive to own and shape our revenue strategy for mid-market and enterprise customers across the US and globally. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas.
You will take full ownership of the sales process, from strategic prospecting through to close, bringing the credibility and consultative depth to engage senior stakeholders at complex, high-value accounts. This is a quota-carrying role with real influence: you’ll convert qualified opportunities into signed deals, help define how we go to market, mentor SDRs, and build the kind of long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and global word-of-mouth.
You’ll be part of a company where creative ambition meets engineering excellence, and where no two deals are ever the same. You’ll see your work make a measurable, global impact, with our robots installed and experienced in museums, theme parks, universities and boardrooms around the world. We offer competitive compensation, uncapped earning potential, and flexible work arrangements that support work–life balance.
We need people with vision, credibility and commercial drive. If you’re interested in bringing humanity to technology and thrive on puzzles and challenges, let’s talk.
Main Responsibilities
- Own and drive the full sales cycle, from strategic discovery through negotiation and close, on high-value, complex deals
- Develop and execute account plans across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise targets in the US and internationally
- Partner closely with SDRs to convert qualified leads into proposals, while independently generating pipeline from target verticals and robot applications
- Lead executive-level conversations and present tailored, consultative solutions to senior decision-makers
- Deliver compelling live and virtual product demonstrations that translate cutting-edge robotics into clear business value
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting accuracy in CRM with high data hygiene
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, navigating complex buying committees and addressing technical and commercial objections
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations and support teams to ensure seamless customer outcomes
- Represent Engineered Arts at trade shows, conferences and customer site visits across the US and globally, becoming a credible voice in the humanoid robotics space
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Mentor SDRs and help define how we go to market
Challenges
Small team, big ambitions: We’re a small team working at the very cutting edge of technology in a high-growth sector. We rely on our highly-skilled professionals to jump in wherever needed to get things done. Expect a fast paced, agile environment with endless and varied challenges!
A category still being defined: Humanoid robots are a new kind of purchase. You’ll be explaining the value, shaping the go-to-market approach and helping define how the category is sold.
Complex, multi-stakeholder deals: Navigating long-cycle enterprise deals and complex buying committees, while managing shorter transactional opportunities at the same time.
Executive credibility: Building trust quickly with C-suite and senior decision-makers, and translating cutting-edge robotics into clear business value through consultative selling and compelling demonstrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with SDRs, marketing, product, operations and support teams to ensure seamless customer outcomes, and feeding market intelligence back into the product roadmap.
Broad geography and audiences: Selling across the US and globally into museums, theme parks, universities, trade shows and boardrooms, with service robot applications on the horizon, and representing us at events and customer sites along the way.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Key Skills and Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in a full-cycle B2B sales role, with a strong track record of closing complex, high-value deals
- Proven success selling physical technology products, hardware or emerging technology solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers
- Demonstrated ability to navigate long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals while managing shorter transactional opportunities simultaneously
- Executive presence and the ability to build credibility quickly with C-suite and senior decision-makers
- Exceptional communication, consultative selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing and accurately forecasting a substantial pipeline
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and a disciplined approach to data hygiene
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, innovative environment where the product category is still being defined
