Job Description

Executive Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Executive Director based in United States.

As an Executive Director, you will lead enterprise sales strategy and execution across major health systems in the United States. You’ll manage complex, consultative sales cycles where clinical, financial, and executive stakeholders must align around significant technology investments. The role combines strategic account management, deep discovery, business case development, executive selling, and disciplined deal execution. You’ll develop tailored solutions that connect healthcare organizations’ operational challenges with measurable improvements in efficiency, patient safety, and financial performance. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership, you’ll also help refine sales processes as the organization scales. This is a high-impact, customer-facing opportunity suited to an experienced healthcare technology seller who thrives in a high-growth environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and introductions through product demonstrations, business case development, proposals, negotiations, and contracting.
  • Manage a strategic portfolio of prospective health system accounts and consistently drive opportunities toward revenue targets.
  • Build and grow an independent pipeline of enterprise opportunities and long-term provider relationships.
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand prospects’ challenges, organizational structures, priorities, competitive landscapes, and long-term objectives.
  • Position technology solutions as strategic responses to customer challenges and demonstrate clear business and operational value.
  • Develop tailored business cases that communicate measurable ROI and address the specific needs of each health system.
  • Advance complex buyer journeys by preparing strategically for meetings, engaging stakeholders at each stage, and project-managing the overall sales process.
  • Build consensus across multiple stakeholders, including C-suite, financial, clinical, revenue cycle, and operational leaders.
  • Lead high-value executive conversations and confidently navigate critical discussions around technology investments and business outcomes.
  • Establish trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and position the organization as a strategic healthcare technology partner.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership to improve sales processes, messaging, collateral, and enablement as products and markets evolve.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time to support customer engagement, relationship development, and sales activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience selling software to major health systems with approximately $800M+ in net patient revenue.
  • Demonstrated success managing full enterprise sales cycles and engaging C-suite executives such as CFOs, CMIOs, COOs, and CIOs, as well as VP- and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Experience selling innovative healthcare technology designed to improve clinical efficiency, patient safety, revenue performance, or healthcare workflows.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to understand complex organizational challenges and translate them into compelling technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop tailored business cases and build consensus across multiple executive stakeholders, including financial and clinical leadership.
  • Strong strategic account management, discovery, negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to independently develop and manage a portfolio of enterprise opportunities while maintaining disciplined sales execution.
  • Robust knowledge of revenue cycle management and/or AI-driven clinical co-pilot technologies is preferred.
  • Experience selling solutions related to documentation, patient safety, clinical documentation improvement, revenue cycle, or clinical workflows is preferred.
  • Proven success working within a high-growth startup environment, with early-stage experience strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with C-suite decision-makers within major health systems are a plus.
  • Located within approximately 50 miles of a major airport and willing to travel around 30% of the time.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and be located within an eligible metropolitan area.

Benefits:

  • $150,000–$170,000 annual base salary.
  • Uncapped commission with an estimated on-target earnings range of $300,000–$340,000.
  • Equity eligibility.
  • 99% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • One Medical subscription.
  • 18 paid time-off days per year.
  • One-week holiday break.
  • $750 annual learning and development stipend.
  • Company-sponsored team retreat and social events.
  • Sabbatical program.
  • Remote work environment with opportunities to work from offices in select locations.
  • Catered lunches and additional office perks for eligible employees working from the New York City or Los Angeles offices.
  • Opportunity to work on healthcare technology focused on clinical efficiency, patient safety, and improved patient outcomes.
  • High-impact role with direct exposure to healthcare executives and major health system organizations.
