Job Description:
Objective
The Compliance Service Specialist III is considered a SME (Subject Matter Expert) within the registration department with a vast understanding of registration processing, internal compliance operations knowledge while supporting transactional requests for one of the teams in compliance services; New vehicle paperwork, RegEx, State Transfer or Follow up. The specialist will cultivate relationships with DMVs and trusted vendors to ensure partnership across the industry as well as support and articulate complex regulatory changes to the operational teams to stay in front of regulatory updates. The specialist will be well-versed and able to operate within external and internal systems and technologies to manage processing and communication. In addition, the specialist will adhere to detailed methods of tracking to ensure fleet vehicles are on the road legally with the proper license and registration. Individuals in this role will be assigned to one of the following working groups and understand the role includes flexibility to be reassigned to another team to suit the business needs to optimize customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions
- Manage internal and vendor follow-up processes to ensure IT&R and State Transfer transactions are completed accurately and within established service levels.
- Lead weekly vendor performance meetings and ensure timely resolution of outstanding registration activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, DMVs, provincial agencies, dealerships, and government jurisdictions to obtain registration documentation and resolve outstanding rejections.
- Manage title suspension cases and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct business entity research with Secretary of State, DMV, and provincial agencies to validate registration status, licensing, and compliance requirements.
- Perform audits and investigate discrepancies involving business names, addresses, licensing, mail distribution, and vehicle records.
- Research into legislative and jurisdictional changes affecting title and registration processes and provide recommendations to leadership
- Respond to Salesforce inquiries and coordinate with dealerships, vendors, and government agencies to resolve complex registration issues.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Compliance Services, supporting process improvements, system enhancements, and SOP maintenance.
- Handle escalated client and driver concerns, ensuring timely resolution and a positive customer experience.
- Mentor and train Compliance Services Specialists, providing guidance on complex transaction processing and regulatory requirements.
- Support departmental goals, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Update jurisdictional procedures and processing requirements (JP) to ensure current regulatory compliance.

- Effectively present information to management, employees, internal / external clients and licensing authorities
- Ability to speak and write clearly, confidently, and succinctly in communications with dealers, tag agencies, government agencies, and clients.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with internal/external customers with diplomacy and tact.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating ability to effectively prioritize tasks and maintain a high level of organization.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and ability to audit invoicing.
- Demonstrate excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Complete basic math functions to calculate complex tax documents.
- Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Windows and the various software it offers. (Visio, Word, Excel, Office, Etc.)
- Proficient with web-based systems and databases and knowledgeable with navigating the internet.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to negotiate cost and pricing with various vendors.
- Must be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate leadership qualities.

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3 + years’ License and Title experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively, use time wisely and avoid distractions to meet deadlines.

Pay Range:
$43,700-$61,200The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
