Job Description
Job Summary:
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments, ensuring on- time delivery, and managing inventory levels. This position also works closely with the International Logistics Coordinator to resolve logistic and supply chain issues.
Essential Functions:
· Assists in arranging and coordinates shipments of goods, including preparing shipping documents, booking transportation (air, sea, or land), and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
· Assists with comminating with suppliers, carriers, customs agents, and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities, provide shipment status updates, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
· Assists with preparing and processing required shipping and customs documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and export/import declarations, to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Assists with monitoring the progress of shipments, track shipments in transit using tracking systems and proactively addresses any issues or delays.
· Assists with maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, monitors stock levels, and coordinates replenishment orders to meet customer demands and production schedules.
· Provides excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, providing shipment updates, and resolving any issues or concerns related to international shipments.
· Identifies and mitigates risks associated with international shipments.
· Identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in logistics operations.
· Collaborates with other departments to coordinate logistics activities, address supply chain issues, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Preferred Education and Experience:
· An associates degree, or equivalent work experience.
· At least one year of previous experience in the field of knowledge.
