Job Description

Director of Advisor Productivity

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Advisor Productivity in the United States.

This is a senior regional leadership role focused on enabling high-performing wealth advisory teams to operate at their full potential. You will act as a strategic partner to Private Advisors, helping them scale their practices, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall client experience. The role sits at the intersection of advisory teams and central functions, requiring strong cross-functional coordination across operations, technology, legal, compliance, and product. You will identify friction points in advisor workflows and drive practical, scalable solutions that improve productivity and business outcomes. A key part of the role involves supporting advisor onboarding, transitions, and growth planning across a fast-evolving wealth management environment. Success requires a strong blend of advisory mindset, operational excellence, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner directly with Private Advisors and their teams to support practice management, capacity planning, and long-term business growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to resolve complex business, operational, and client service challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with advisor teams to ensure alignment on goals, execution priorities, and performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership and cross-functional partners to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across the advisory platform.
  • Identify recurring operational or structural challenges and drive scalable, firm-wide solutions to enhance advisor productivity.
  • Support adherence to firm standards in client service, compliance, and risk management while enabling business growth.
  • Champion the adoption of tools, technology, and platform capabilities to enhance the advisor experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with recruiting and leadership teams to support advisor hiring, onboarding, and integration strategies.
  • Guide pre- and post-onboarding processes for advisor teams to ensure smooth transitions into the operating model.
  • Assess advisor team structures, readiness, and scalability to support sustainable expansion and performance.
  • Act as a continuity partner during periods of organizational change, growth, or strategic transition.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in wealth management, advisor support, practice management, or a related leadership function.
  • Strong understanding of advisor business models, client service frameworks, and growth strategies within wealth management.
  • Proven ability to coach, influence, and support senior advisors without direct managerial authority.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, technology, product, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in advisor onboarding, transitions, and/or M&A integration activities is strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic and operational thinking with the ability to translate high-level goals into practical execution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and advisor teams.
  • Highly collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to act as a trusted partner to senior professionals.
  • Bias toward action, accountability, and continuous improvement in complex organizational settings.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior leadership responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings and financial wellness programs.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • Opportunities to work closely with senior leadership in a high-impact, strategic role.
  • Exposure to large-scale advisory operations and firm-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities within a leading financial services environment.
  • Collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client excellence and advisor success.
