We are looking for an experiend Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team—at Ravenshore.
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building processes, working independently, and serving as a trusted business partner. As the sole on-site HR professional supporting approximately 40 employees, you will oversee the day-to-day human resources function while partnering closely with the HR Leader of our parent company for strategic guidance and support.
This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.
Essential ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources AdministrationServe as the primary HR contact for all employees and managers.
Manage daily HR operations and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Maintain employee personnel files, HR records, and confidential documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
Coordinate background checks, employment verification, and new hire paperwork.
Lead new hire onboarding and orientation.
Manage employee offboarding and exit interviews.
Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other company-sponsored benefits.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and enrollment.
Coordinate new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
Partner with benefit brokers and vendors to resolve employee benefit issues and ensure accurate administration.
Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding employee relations matters.
Support performance management processes, coaching, and corrective action documentation.
Assist leadership with employee development initiatives.
Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
Support payroll by maintaining accurate employee data and required documentation.
Coordinate required employment postings and compliance reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
Work independently while maintaining regular communication with the parent company's HR Leader.
Partner with leadership on organizational initiatives, workforce planning, and HR best practices.
Support special projects and other business initiatives as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources experience required.
Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred but not required.
