Job Description

The Branch Manager will be responsible for directing all aspects of the branch to include employee management, inventory control and loss prevention, and ensuring customer service standards. Must have experience supporting sales, excellent communication skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain annual objectives and expense budgets for the branch based off of historical data, operational need, and customer demandWork closely with Office Administrator to ensure that all customer orders are placed, scheduling is set, and billing is up to date in the systemManage staff hours and schedules based off of branch needsBuild work relationships with staff to maintain a high level of customer service and support in a positive team-oriented branch environment that matches the company’s mission and valuesEnsure the communication of all required reports and goals is provided to all departmentsRecognize employee achievements and encourage excellence through employee engagementPlan and conduct regular staff meetings and branch level events Host operations meetings to monitor operational issues, customer concerns, and compliance and safety regulationsEnsure staff are following safe work practices, completing job duties efficiently and that adequate support is providedAdhere to high ethical and professional standards set forth by the companyInteract with customers and leaders on a regular basis to ensure client satisfaction and promote improved services

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma/GED required Minimum of 2 years of management experienceExperience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsSuperior interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to think independently and critically, analyze and solve problems, and successfully implement solutionsAbility to travel up to 15-20%Effective time management and prioritization skills; must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to change course quickly as neededExperience with Microsoft applications
