Summary:
Seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, internal controls, and strategic planning. This individual will be responsible for leading finance and accounting teams, improving financial processes, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all accounting and finance department operations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Manage sales tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements across multiple states.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and capital expenditure activities.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial planning, business strategy, and risk management initiatives.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, insurance providers, CPA firms, and external consultants.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance personnel.
• Support budgeting, cash flow management, and operational planning efforts.
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Accounting and Financial Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing multiple financial functions.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite and Avalara is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, warehouse, or material handling industry experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
