Cash and Carry Stocker in Alsip, Illinois at R&R Human Resources Solutions

Food & Paper Supply, an established food and paper distributor located in the south suburbs of Chicago (Alsip), is seeking a Cash and Carry Stocker for our onsite store. The Cash and Carry Stocker will replenish shelves with the appropriate product while providing excellent customer service. This person should have the ability to work well under pressure, independently and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions or price discrepancies.
• Stock shelves for missing products.
• Set up displays and stock shelves.
• Load and unload product from trucks.
• Maintain organization of store products.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Become knowledgeable about the company’s products and services, and customer-related policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two- step instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• Moderate to loud noise exists in the work environment.
• The employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Our store is open Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:00pm. ,Saturday 8:00-2:00pm. Candidates must be available to work on Saturdays and will have a day off during the week, to be determined.

Salary: $15/hour
