PM Dining Room Host/HostessAt Chick-fil-A Winchester Rd, the PM Dining Room Host/Hostess plays an important role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for every guest. This position combines genuine hospitality with detailed dining room cleaning and end-of-night closing responsibilities.Please note: This position requires consistent availability from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.ResponsibilitiesProvide Second Mile Service and genuine hospitality to every guest.Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude.Engage with guests and look for opportunities to create a welcoming dining experience.Deliver meals to dine-in guests and assist with mobile orders when needed.Provide beverage refills and assist guests throughout their visit.Clear trays and remove trash from tables and dining areas.Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, highchairs, counters, trays, and guest-contact surfaces.Perform frequent restroom checks and maintain restroom cleanliness.Sweep and mop dining room areas throughout the shift.Vacuum rugs and floor mats as needed.Pull, move, and properly clean rugs and mats as part of end-of-night cleaning.Perform detailed end-of-night floor cleaning, including deck scrubbing as assigned.Place chairs on tables as part of closing procedures.Clean underneath tables, chairs, rugs, and other dining room areas.Restock condiments, napkins, straws, lids, and other dining room supplies.Maintain the cleanliness of entrances, exterior guest areas, and dining room spaces.Complete assigned end-of-night cleaning and closing responsibilities before leaving.Ensure the dining room is clean, organized, stocked, and prepared for the next business day.Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and involve Leadership when appropriate.Follow Chick-fil-A Pathway procedures, food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and restaurant policies.Work cooperatively with Team Members and Leadership.Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.Physical RequirementsThis position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning throughout the shift.Team Members may be required to move chairs, rugs, mats, cleaning supplies, and other dining room equipment and perform repetitive cleaning activities.Qualifications and RequirementsMust be legally eligible to work in the United States.Must have reliable transportation to and from work.Friendly, positive, and hospitality-focused attitude.Genuine desire to serve and help others.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Customer-service oriented.Dependable and consistent.Detail-oriented and able to multitask.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.Ability to adapt quickly to changing restaurant and guest needs.Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills.Ability to safely handle restaurant equipment and supplies associated with the position.Ability to bend, reach, and navigate shelving and work areas at varying heights.Ability to lift and carry approximately 5–50 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods during scheduled shifts.Willingness and ability to work the schedule required for the position.Why Chick-fil-A Winchester Rd?Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job.
