As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious meals for up to 18 adult men in a long-term residential program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain meal plans that meet nutritional and program requirements
- Create supply and purchasing lists to support weekly menus
- Prepare and serve quality meals in accordance with established schedules
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational kitchen environment
- Monitor food storage, rotation, and inventory practices
- Complete food temperature logs and production records
- Follow state and local health and safety requirements
- Promote a safe and welcoming dining experience for residents
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism

- High School Diploma or GED
- Food Safety Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings, including background checks, physical examination, TB screening, and drug testing
- Ability to work with computers and commonly used software applications
- 2-3 years of experience in food service, culinary operations, or institutional food preparation
- Experience planning menus and managing food inventories
- Understanding of food safety regulations and residential program requirements
- Experience maintaining compliance with state and local health codes
- Experience working independently in a food service environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete all required background and reference checks
- Part-Time
- 20 Hours Per Week
- Schedule to be discussed during the interview process
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed throughout the workday
- Ability to safely perform food preparation and kitchen duties
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
