Job Description

Contract AI Investing Content Writer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Contract AI Investing Content Writer based in the United States.

This is a flexible, fully remote contract opportunity for a financially savvy writer who can combine strong investment knowledge with AI-assisted content production.
You’ll review and refine high-volume, AI-generated financial articles covering timely market and company events.
The role focuses on adding the critical context investors need to distinguish meaningful developments from routine market noise.
You’ll fact-check financial information, assess its significance, and produce concise, insightful commentary aligned with long-term investing principles.
You’ll work within a content management system and collaborate with editorial and technology teams to continuously improve AI-generated outputs.
The environment is fast-paced and autonomous, with an emphasis on accuracy, analytical thinking, curiosity, and high-quality financial journalism.
A passion for investing, LLMs, and emerging AI technologies will help you thrive in this role.

Accountabilities:
  • Review AI-generated financial article drafts in a content management system and assess them for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and substance.
  • Fact-check financial data, company information, market developments, and other source material using reliable research methods and financial resources.
  • Write concise, investor-focused commentary of approximately 150–300 words that explains the significance of news events and helps readers distinguish meaningful developments from routine activity.
  • Apply sound investment judgment to contextualize events such as insider transactions, dividend announcements, earnings releases, and other company-specific developments.
  • Edit AI-generated content substantively, improving its financial accuracy, analytical value, clarity, and usefulness rather than simply copyediting.
  • Ensure content reflects a long-term, fundamentals-focused investment philosophy and maintains a consistent editorial voice.
  • Manage a high volume of articles while meeting deadlines and maintaining rigorous standards for financial accuracy and editorial quality.
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback on AI-generated content and recurring issues to help prompt engineers improve model outputs and content workflows.
  • Stay current with financial markets, investing concepts, company developments, and evolving AI and LLM technologies relevant to financial publishing.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts, investment terminology, markets, and the broader global financial landscape.
  • Experience in journalism, financial writing, editing, research, or a closely related field, with a strong understanding of news writing, AP style, and journalistic ethics.
  • Strong investment knowledge and the ability to evaluate whether financial news is genuinely material, largely noise, or somewhere in between.
  • Proven fact-checking and research skills, including the ability to verify financial information, data, claims, and sources.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex financial information into concise, accessible, and insightful commentary.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, digital publishing tools, fact-checking technologies, and other tools used in financial media.
  • Understanding of LLMs, AI-assisted content workflows, and the ability to read, interpret, and work effectively with AI prompts.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, particularly when working with financial figures and market-sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and consistently meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Self-motivated, financially curious, analytical, and comfortable exercising independent editorial judgment.
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Must reside in the United States.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote and flexible contract work.
  • Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, allowing flexibility around your schedule.
  • Hourly compensation of $45–$50 USD.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of financial journalism, investing, and AI-assisted content creation.
  • Exposure to large-scale LLM-powered editorial workflows and opportunities to contribute feedback that improves AI-generated content.
  • Work focused on helping investors better understand financial news and make more informed long-term decisions.
  • Collaborative environment with opportunities to work alongside editorial, technology, and AI-focused teams.
