RN Supervisor, Full time

We are looking for a qualified nursing supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team for the night shift of our health center. Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a registered nurse and is able to manage and support the care delivery to our residents. This position requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure smooth nursing operations at our health center through the support and encouragement of our team members.

Responsibilities

• Assign care teams
• Ensure nursing operational standards are met
• Provide reports on shift activity
• Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures
• Train new team members
• Evaluate staff performance
• Inform family members about medical updates
• Liaison with family members/visitors during shift
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and friends
• Oversee input in EMR(electronic medical record)

Skills

• Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor
• Knowledge of long term care regulatory guidance is helpful
• Knowledge of best practices in healthcare
• Team management skills
• Great communication and people skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Valid nursing license
