This role is responsible for turning ambitious marketing ideas into clear, actionable strategies that deliver measurable business results.
You will lead strategy across assigned client accounts, designing connected, multi-channel journeys across content, AEO/SEO, social, lifecycle marketing, and automation.
The position combines strategic thinking with creative direction, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on client leadership.
You will uncover audience insights, translate business objectives into meaningful strategies, and guide teams from discovery through execution.
Working closely with creative, content, technical, and leadership teams, you will ensure every initiative has a clear purpose and measurable impact.
You will also monitor performance, identify emerging opportunities, and continuously refine strategies based on data and evolving customer behavior.

- Lead marketing strategy for assigned client accounts, ensuring initiatives align with business objectives, audience needs, and measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate client discovery sessions to uncover insights, clarify objectives, identify opportunities, and establish meaningful performance metrics.
- Develop integrated, cross-channel marketing strategies spanning content, AEO/SEO, social, lifecycle marketing, email, and automation.
- Design cohesive audience journeys that connect channels and create personalized, measurable experiences throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with fellow strategists to ensure account strategies are aligned with broader strategic approaches, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with creative, content, and technical teams to translate strategic direction into effective campaigns and experiences.
- Provide strategic creative direction by developing briefs, reviewing concepts and campaign plans, and ensuring execution remains aligned with objectives and brand standards.
- Monitor campaign and account performance, interpret behavioral, engagement, and transactional data, and recommend strategic adjustments to maximize impact.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer behavior, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Own project success and serve as a trusted point of contact for client questions, concerns, strategic decisions, and recommendations.
- Translate complex marketing concepts into clear, persuasive strategies, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and senior executives.
- Brief cross-functional teams effectively and provide ongoing strategic guidance throughout execution.
- Contribute new ideas and recommendations to internal marketing, branding, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on internal branding, marketing activities, and selected sales pursuits.
- Help identify and adopt new tools, platforms, and approaches that can improve efficiency, creativity, and marketing outcomes.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience developing and leading digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, ideally within an agency, startup, consultancy, or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated history of owning meaningful marketing successes and the ability to support results with clear, relevant data.
- Strong expertise in at least two core marketing disciplines, such as lifecycle marketing, social media, AEO/SEO, content marketing, email, or automation.
- Broad understanding of how different digital channels work together to create cohesive customer experiences.
- Experience with lifecycle and loyalty marketing, including email and app-based experiences; familiarity with Braze is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to use behavioral, engagement, and transactional data to inform personalized user experiences and strategic decisions.
- Experience owning client accounts or major strategic workstreams from discovery through execution.
- Strong client leadership skills, with the ability to uncover insights, clarify objectives, build trust, and establish a clear path toward measurable results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create strategy decks and present recommendations to senior executives.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to brief creative teams, evaluate concepts, and ensure creative work remains grounded in strategic objectives.
- Player-coach mindset with the ability to remain hands-on while guiding others and navigating complex projects.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with creative, content, technical, product, and leadership teams.
- Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects without losing attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning and working with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Figma, Profound, Semrush, and other emerging marketing technologies.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset, with the confidence to raise questions, address challenges, and take ownership of solutions.
- Experience in regulated healthcare or financial services environments is highly desirable, particularly within large, matrixed organizations.
- Ability to remain motivated by long-term initiatives where results or implementation may take months or years.
- Experience with new technology, marketing automation, AI, or emerging digital platforms is a plus.
