Coastal Pacific Food Distributors (CPFD) is seeking a skilled and motivated Application Developer to join our Information Technology team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and modernizing business applications that support distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and other critical business functions.
The successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft development technologies, SQL Server database development, mobile application development, systems integration, and application support. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business users to deliver innovative solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & Deployment- Gather and analyze business requirements from users and stakeholders.
- Design and develop new business applications.
- Enhance, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug existing applications.
- Modernize legacy applications and migrate them to current technologies.
- Release and support regular application updates and enhancements.
- Develop Android mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
- Manage mobile application deployment processes and updates.
- Perform testing across emulators and physical devices.
- Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Create and modify database tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and related objects.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
- Integrate internal systems with third-party REST APIs and services.
- Develop automated import/export processes using SQL Agent Jobs, Windows Services, and related technologies.
- Support data exchange and system interoperability initiatives.
- Respond to and resolve application support and IT service tickets.
- Assist users with troubleshooting, training, and system enhancements.
- Provide ongoing support for business-critical applications.
- Maintain development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in application testing, deployment, and release management activities.
- Ensure quality and reliability of software solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Document application architecture, business processes, and deployment procedures.

- Experience integrating with external systems and APIs.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in food distribution, logistics, warehouse management, inventory management, or supply chain environments.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps processes.
- Experience supporting mobile applications in a business environment.
- Experience with Unisys ABSuite
- Pay range: $90,000 to $130,000/annual
