Do you enjoy looking at a process and thinking, “There has to be a better way to do this”?

Cyclonaire is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer 1 to join our Operations team in York, Nebraska. In this role, you’ll work directly with teams across the organization to identify opportunities, solve problems, reduce waste, improve quality, and help make our manufacturing processes more efficient.

This is an opportunity to do more than analyze processes from behind a desk. You’ll spend time where the work happens, collaborate with the people doing it every day, use data to understand problems, and help turn ideas into practical improvements.

If you’re analytical, curious, collaborative, and energized by continuous improvement, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to evaluate processes and performance
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement solutions that improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to turn improvement ideas into sustainable processes
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure process effectiveness and results
  • Support quality initiatives, including testing and inspection processes
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects across the organization
  • Develop standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flowcharts
  • Train and coach employees on continuous improvement principles and practices
  • Help teams successfully navigate and adopt process changes
  • Identify and share best practices that support Cyclonaire’s continued growth

These responsibilities reflect the position’s focus on process analysis, quality, continuous improvement, performance metrics, training, change management, cost analysis, and documentation.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with or knowledge of process improvement and optimization
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and use data to drive decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with people across different teams and functions
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and solve problems
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to influence change and build productive working relationships
  • Project management experience is a plus

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t just identify a problem—you enjoy working with others to find a better solution and help make it stick.
