Software Engineer - FullStack Pleno (Java/React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer - FullStack Pleno (Java/React) based in Brazil.

You will join a collaborative engineering environment focused on building and evolving scalable, high-quality software solutions across both backend and frontend layers. In this role, you will work with modern Java-based backend systems alongside React-driven user interfaces, contributing to the development of robust, distributed applications. You will play an important part in ensuring system performance, maintainability, and a seamless user experience across digital products. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including backend, frontend, and architecture specialists, to deliver end-to-end solutions. You will also contribute to defining service-oriented architectures and improving system integration patterns. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys fullstack development, technical collaboration, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement backend solutions using Java and PL/SQL, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to build and integrate user interfaces using React, ensuring seamless end-to-end application experiences.
  • Design and contribute to service-oriented architectures (SOA) and distributed systems, supporting scalability and system evolution.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations across multiple services and platforms.
  • Participate in testing activities, including functional validation, ensuring reliability and quality of delivered features.
  • Use Git for version control and collaborate through code reviews, ensuring adherence to development best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for technical improvements and contribute to continuous enhancement of development processes and system design.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in Java 17+ development with strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for relational database development and optimization.
  • Experience in frontend development using React, including integration patterns such as micro frontends and BFF.
  • Experience working with microservices and distributed system architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and system integration design.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle and MongoDB.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
  • Understanding of SOA principles and experience implementing service-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and secure development practices is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in dynamic environments.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and autonomous profile with strong communication skills and ownership mindset.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields is desirable.
