Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Especialista de Desenvolvimento de Software based in Brazil.
This role focuses on developing and evolving the backend core of a unified SDK that processes critical security, integrity, and fraud signals. You will transform raw technical signals into actionable intelligence and reliability decisions that influence secure validation flows. The position involves building highly scalable, resilient, and observable services for mission-critical environments with significant transaction volumes. You will work closely with Architecture, Security, Platform, and Engineering teams to deliver high-performance and secure solutions. The role also contributes to the evolution of digital fraud detection, device compromise analysis, channel integrity, and risk assessment mechanisms. You will investigate emerging threats, strengthen production systems, and help continuously improve the technical quality and reliability of the platform.
- Develop and maintain critical backend microservices responsible for processing and correlating security, fraud, and SDK integrity signals.
- Implement reliability assessment mechanisms based on indicators such as device compromise, session integrity, and digital injection detection.
- Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Go, with a strong focus on high performance, concurrency, and efficient processing.
- Ensure service reliability, availability, and observability through comprehensive metrics, centralized logging, distributed tracing, and continuous monitoring.
- Participate in the definition and evolution of microservices architecture and integration standards across distributed systems.
- Design and maintain secure, efficient APIs supporting communication between SDKs, fraud-prevention platforms, and corporate services.
- Implement backend security controls covering authentication, authorization, encryption, API protection, and secure communication channels.
- Investigate and mitigate production incidents involving fraud, security threats, service availability, performance, and platform stability.
- Participate in CI/CD processes, deployment activities, production monitoring, and technical support for live environments.
- Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, technical documentation, and continuous improvements in software quality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate security and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support the continuous evolution of fraud detection and risk mechanisms in response to new attack vectors and emerging security threats.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong professional experience developing backend applications using Go (Golang), preferably in high-scale or mission-critical environments.
- Advanced knowledge of concurrent programming, parallelism, performance optimization, and efficient resource utilization.
- Solid experience designing and developing distributed microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of service-to-service communication using REST APIs, gRPC, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with observability practices, including monitoring, centralized logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Knowledge of backend application security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, API security, and communication-channel protection.
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Proven experience supporting highly available systems and applications that process large transaction volumes.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking abilities, with the capacity to investigate and solve complex technical problems.
- Ownership mindset, technical initiative, and a results-oriented approach to engineering challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with Architecture, Security, Platform, and Engineering teams.
- Ability to make data-driven technical decisions and continuously improve systems, processes, and engineering practices.
- Experience with fraud-prevention products, digital identity, authentication, device fingerprinting, or device-compromise detection is an advantage.
- Knowledge of real-time event processing, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging platforms is desirable.
- Familiarity with SRE principles, cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, behavioral analysis, transaction fraud, risk decision engines, and DevSecOps practices is a plus.
- Genuine interest in digital security, emerging technologies, innovation, and the continuous evolution of backend platforms.
- Opportunity to work on mission-critical backend systems operating at significant transaction volumes.
- Exposure to advanced areas including fraud prevention, digital security, device integrity, risk analysis, and secure software engineering.
- Work with modern technologies including Go, microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary Architecture, Security, Platform, and Engineering teams.
- Opportunity to contribute to highly scalable, resilient, and security-focused technology platforms.
- Environment focused on innovation, continuous learning, technical ownership, and complex problem-solving.
- Inclusive and people-centered work environment with emphasis on professional development and well-being.
- Opportunities to build expertise in distributed systems, DevSecOps, reliability engineering, and high-performance backend development.
- Exposure to evolving digital threats and the opportunity to contribute to solutions designed to strengthen platform security and resilience.
