Alliance Workforce Management is hiring Industrial Refrigeration & Utilities Specialists to support a leading food manufacturing facility in Owasso. This role is essential for maintaining safe, reliable, and compliant refrigeration and utility systems that support meat processing and cold-storage operations.

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units, compressors, boilers, and related utility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, tools, and visual inspection.
• Perform temperature verification checks using handheld probes to ensure system accuracy.
• Conduct daily inspections of refrigeration equipment and high/low-pressure boilers.
• Complete operational logs, readings, and documentation each shift.
• Support preventive maintenance activities following SOPs, LOTO procedures, and CMMS work orders.
• Assist with special projects, system upgrades, and facility improvements.
• Participate in PSM (Process Safety Management) audits and compliance activities.
• Address non-compliance findings and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Perform general facility maintenance including doors, lighting, dock equipment, and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned to support plant operations.

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC/Refrigeration technical training preferred.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance or refrigeration experience preferred.
• RETA Level 1 & 2 or Ammonia Operator certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of ammonia, glycol, and Freon-based industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Familiarity with food safety and environmental regulations related to refrigeration.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with maintenance and production teams.
• Comfortable using computer-based systems and Windows applications.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cold environments and fast-paced production settings.
• English proficiency required; Spanish is an asset.

• Frequent physical activity including crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs unassisted.
• Extended standing and walking on concrete surfaces that may be wet or slippery.
• Work performed in refrigerated environments ranging from –40°F to –45°F.
• Exposure to strong odors from raw and seasoned meat products.
• Required PPE includes smocks, rubber-soled shoes, hair/beard nets, hearing protection, and hard hats.
• Hearing protection required due to high noise levels.
• Corrected vision needed for close and distance work.
