  • Mentor and develop engineering professionals, helping build a capable, collaborative, and increasingly self-sufficient team.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, winning new work, developing client relationships, and expanding the practice.
  • Bring new clients and projects into the organization while cultivating long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Help establish and grow the water and wastewater practice through organic growth, strong project execution, and strategic client engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of professional experience delivering water and wastewater projects within an engineering or design consulting environment.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

  • Proven track record successfully managing complex engineering projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build trusted relationships, understand client challenges, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical and project decisions.
  • Experience leading engineering teams, staff, and sub-consultants while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
  • Strong business development capabilities, including experience winning work, developing clients, and contributing to practice growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities, with a collaborative approach to developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a growing environment where initiative, ownership, and entrepreneurial thinking are valued.
