Job Description

This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales growth through inbound and outbound customer interactions. This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, resolving issues, and building strong, long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate proactively identifies customer needs, recommends appropriate products and solutions, and consistently achieves sales and service objectives. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to balance sales performance with outstanding service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering support and guidance through the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sales assistance.
  • Utilize SAP system, website resources, and support from teammates and technical experts to gather information and provide timely solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Uses SAP to retrieve customer information, stock status information, and status of purchase orders and any other pertinent information the customer may require.
  • Monitor order progress, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, production, and quality assurance to ensure optimal service and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate claims and start RMA processes.
  • Assist outside sales team and management team in processing priority transactions.
  • Participate in meetings and training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • B.S. Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years inside sales / key account experience in a customer service and manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the ERP (SAP) system.
  • Proficient in office management software (MS Office).
  • Having functional competence and understanding of manufacturing / production environment.
  • Fluent in both English & Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. This includes the ability to effectively communicate technical information and provide support to customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-based environment where priorities may shift.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Skilled in reaching design specifications and technical drawings a plus.
  • Experience in NEC & IEC hazardous requirements a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer focus demonstrated by attitude of service, excellent organizational and collaboration skills, as well as proactive follow-up habits.
  • Problem-solving ability with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
