The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the Maintenance Team by example ensuring all team members go home better than they arrived. This supervisor will also lead their team to convert natural resources into quality finished products while maximizing profit for our people, company, community, and country. Maintenance is a critical element in this process. This supervisor will ensure each machine operates at or above Westervelt's expectations to ensure the finest quality product we can deliver to further our reputation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise Maintenance Department and assist with any problems that may arise as necessary.
- Troubleshoot issues and train maintenance associates.
- Utilize EAM on a daily basis to process work orders and order parts and materials.
- Supervise and coordinate normal daily work and scheduled weekend work.
- Assist in interviewing and hiring qualified millwrights and electricians.
- Conduct maintenance department safety meetings and be responsible for overall safety adherence and performance.
- Complete weekly time entry for payroll purposes.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five years maintenance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent mechanical knowledge of equipment operations
- Demonstrated verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers/contacts.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a wood products or similar facility with mechanical knowledge of equipment operations
- Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations
