This is a paid, fully remote freelance opportunity for an entertainment writer with strong knowledge of Taylor Sheridan’s television universe.
You’ll create timely, engaging articles covering shows such as Yellowstone, Landman, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, and Tulsa King.
The role combines original ideation, research, writing, fact-checking, formatting, and visual sourcing.
You’ll contribute to a large entertainment audience while developing content within an established editorial framework.
The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly digital, with editorial feedback and peer mentorship available.

Accountabilities
  • Write multiple articles per week following the publication’s editorial style after completing the required training and mentorship period.

  • Develop original story ideas, brainstorm pitches, and create compelling content focused on Taylor Sheridan’s television properties.

  • Research and fact-check articles to ensure accuracy, completeness, and editorial quality.

  • Format articles appropriately, add relevant links, and source suitable images, including basic image adjustments such as resizing and brightness corrections.

  • Apply editorial feedback constructively and revise content as requested by editors.

  • Communicate proactively with the editorial team regarding assignments, ideas, deadlines, and revisions.

  • Maintain a consistent publishing cadence while meeting quality and turnaround expectations.

  • Stay informed about developments, announcements, releases, and storylines relevant to the covered television universe.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience writing for a credible digital publication or comparable online media outlet.

  • Demonstrated expertise and genuine enthusiasm for Taylor Sheridan’s shows, including Yellowstone, Landman, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, and related productions.

  • Excellent command of written English, with strong grammar, spelling, structure, and editorial judgment.

  • Ability to produce polished, engaging articles within short turnaround times.

  • Strong research and fact-checking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
