Bridges & Beyond Program Coordinator in Rutland, Vermont at Rutland Regional Medical Center

The Bridges & Beyond Program Coordinator is responsible for independently overseeing all aspects of the program. This position supports patients and ensures they are prepared for their trips and are appropriately matched with volunteer drivers. Collaboration with hospital and community agencies is integral to ensuring patient transportation needs are met in an efficient and timely manner.

Minimum Education

• Associates Degree in Human Services related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Work Experience

• Two years’ experience in scheduling/coordinating events or activities involving a customer base.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare system preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required to deal with patients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with both internal and external contacts.
• Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Pay Range: $19.97 - $29.09
