Position Information
The Bourns College of Engineering is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Services Analyst. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth financial operations of the college while working in an innovative academic environment and supporting important research activities. Responsibilities include reconciling core facilities billing, processing monthly invoices, coordinating travel, and assisting with accounts payable, reimbursements, vendor payments, and campus service requests. The Analyst will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal audit and University policies, and contributes to the development of financial processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple departments, faculty, and staff while fostering a smooth operational environment. The classification title and salary range for this position are currently under review. The candidate will be placed on the anticipated salary range in accordance with the step placement methodology as defined in the collective bargaining agreement. The proposed title code for this position is covered under the Teamsters University Clerical and Allied Services Contract (CX).The full salary range for the Financial Services Analyst position is $26.82 - $46.17 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
