Accounting Assistant in Ramsey, New Jersey at Regal Waste LLC

DASMEN is seeking to hire a full-time Accounting Assistant. We are looking for a person, detailed oriented, organized and who's fast pace and able to multitask.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties as needed
• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
• Assist with any and all accounting needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 year of accounts payable experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
