Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Certified Medical Assistant to serve as a full-time Shift Supervisor, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of resident care during the 3 PM to 11 PM shift.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during the 3 PM to 11 PM shift to ensure quality resident care

- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures

- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff and caregivers

- Document resident care accurately and maintain detailed shift reports

- Assist with resident assessments and care planning as needed

- Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents and staff

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid and current LPN license in the state of Florida

- Proven experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living and nursing care
