CIBSE certifies management systems to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 and ISO 45001, verifies Embodied Carbon claims, and runs following personnel schemes:
Low Carbon Consultant (LCCs), Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEAs) for non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Air Conditioning Inspector (ACI), ESOS Lead Assessor, Heat Networks Consultant, Section 63 Advisor for Scotland, Management System Specialist and NABERS UK Licensed Assessor.
About the role
What you will do
- Providing technical support for personnel schemes, and to support the development and expansion of NABERS UK services and Embodied Carbon verification schemes.
- Responding to technical enquiries for personal certification, and new schemes.
- Completing audits of lodged EPC, DEC, Air Conditioning Inspection, NABERS Reports etc.
- Undertaking NABERS and other scheme activities e.g. reviewing data, reporting, auditing, supervision
- Assisting with UKAS, NABERS and government and stakeholder audits.
- Achieving service level requirements when dealing with enquiries.
- Assisting in investigations of complaints or potential conflicts of interest.
- Embracing our “customer orientated” culture with feedback mechanisms.
- Working with government and other stakeholders to establish/improve scheme requirements, influencing the future of energy compliance and Net Zero Carbon.
- Contributing to the development-improvement of new systems, and services of CIBSE Certification.

What you will need to be successful
- Qualified and certified non-domestic Energy Assessor, NABERS experience is beneficial
- Minimum of two years’ experience conducting energy assessments e.g. EPCs, DECs, AC Inspections or NABERS
- In depth technical knowledge of building services and requirements of the EPB Regulations and Part L
- Good working knowledge of software required to generate EPCs, DECs or AC Inspection Reports
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with partners to deliver effective solutions for customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Training will be provided as required on NABERS, Embodied Carbon systems and processes.

The pay range for this role is:
40,000 - 50,000 GBP per year(London)
