ShiftMonday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk). Occasional work outside these days/hours.

Job SummaryAs Kentucky’s only Comprehensive National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, the UK Markey Cancer Center is equipped to deliver leading-edge cancer care and engage in groundbreaking research. The Markey Cancer Center is committed to reducing cancer mortality and the burden of disease through comprehensive programs and collaborations in cancer research, treatment and education.

Through the Markey Cancer Center Research Network, we bring access to important research studies into the communities we serve. The Markey Cancer Center Research Network (MCCRN) collaborates with healthcare facilities throughout Kentucky and surrounding Appalachia to provide access to research studies, disseminate evidence-based findings and research education. The MCCRN Administrative Research Assistant Principal will perform activities to support central network operations of multicenter research collaborations.

Position duties include Administrative Coordination, Data Coordination, Project Team Support, Regulatory Coordination, and Coordinating Center Operations. All duties contribute to network operations and services to MCCRN sites, UK, MCC faculty and staff.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule after successful completion of their orientation period and training.
