Our growing team is looking for a Medical Scribe who can work for us on a temporary full-time basis (6 months) supporting our LMC Brampton clinic (2979 Bovaird Dr. E, Brampton).

Responsibilities
- Transcribes patient appointments and records the information in the patient's chart appropriately, including measuring and recording vital signs.
- Review and update patient’s health records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Facilitate diagnostic tests and referrals to medical specialists
- Maintain a clean and professional working environment
- Attends required departmental and companywide meetings.
- Assists with various administrative duties, as assigned.
- Individuals in this position will be cross trained by other departments to be able to assist them should the need arise.
- South Asian language competency is an asset (Urdu/Hindi, Punjabi)
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Nurse, or Medical Scribe.
- Experience working in a medical office environment.
- Proficient knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient computer and typing skills.
