About CNS Occupational Medicine
CNS Occupational Medicine isn't your typical clinic because we don't just operate clinics. We deploy mobile health units across the East Coast, bringing comprehensive occupational health services directly to employers where they need it most: on-site, on-demand, and on their schedule. From DOT physicals to drug screening, audiometric testing, and advanced worksite health programs, we deliver it all in the field, at scale.
We're one of the fastest-growing occupational medicine providers in the region, and our mobile division is at the center of that growth. As we expand our footprint across new states and markets, we're building a team of field-ready professionals who want to be part of something bigger than a waiting room. If you're energized by movement, variety, and real impact, you'll fit right in here.
What This Role Is
This is a field-based contract position supporting our on-site occupational health services at employer locations throughout the region. You'll travel to job sites using company-provided vehicles, represent CNS with professionalism, and deliver the same high standard of care our clients expect, just outside the four walls of a traditional clinic.
No two days look the same, and that's exactly the point.
Why You'll Love Working Here
Variety Every Day — Each job site is different. If you thrive outside a traditional clinic setting, this role is built for you.
Consistent Hours — Up to 40 hours per week, with steady work as our client base continues to grow.
Experienced Team Behind You — You'll work alongside knowledgeable clinical and operations leadership who are invested in your success.
Training & Certification Provided — We'll train and certify the right candidate. You don't need to check every box to apply.
Be Part of Something Growing — CNS is expanding rapidly. Contract roles have turned into long-term opportunities for the right people.
What You'll Do
As a Mobile Occupational Health Technician, you'll be the face of CNS in the field. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing audiometric (hearing) testing at employer sites
- Conducting urine drug screen (UDS) collections, DOT and non-DOT
- Completing on-site phlebotomy draws
- Assisting providers with DOT and non-DOT occupational physicals
- Traveling to client locations using company-provided vehicles
- Delivering a white-glove experience that keeps our clients coming back
What We're Looking For
We want someone dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in a mobile environment. If you're a self-starter who takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys being out in the field, we want to hear from you.
Required:
- Ability to pass a medical physical and obtain/maintain a non-CDL MEC card
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-facing demeanor
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours, including early starts or later finishes as client needs require
Preferred (we'll train the right person):
- Experience in medical assisting, phlebotomy, or occupational health
- Familiarity with DOT testing procedures or occupational screenings
- Prior experience in a mobile, field-based, or traveling healthcare role
Physical Requirements:
This role involves regular travel, standing for extended periods at job sites, and transporting equipment to and from employer locations.
